Breakfast smoothie

Balancing flavours and nutrition with a smoothie is key. What makes this smoothie special? The dates don’t completely blend, giving you chewy sweet surprises in every sip. The coconut milk kefir I use contains gut healthy bacteria and the flaxseed adds the prebiotic fibre our gut loves.

Ingredients

serves 2

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled

  • 4 dates (stone removed)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 tbsp collagen powder (marine or bovine)

  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 2 handfuls of spinach

  • 500ml coconut milk kefir


Add all the ingredients to a blender.

Blend until smooth
