Ginger tonic
This is the perfect tonic to aid digestion, reduce inflammation and boost your immune system. It takes minutes to make. Ingredients
Serves 2
Thumbnail of fresh ginger (no need to peel)
1/2 lemon - juice only
1 tsp honey
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
3-4 black peppercorns
50 ml water or coconut water
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a sieve and either serve in a shot glass, dilute with hot water and a slice of ginger or dilute it with some sparkling water and add ice.
